Description
Ozempic (Semaglutide 0.68mg/ml) by Novo Nordisk — single pre-filled pen delivering 2mg/3ml for subcutaneous injection. The most prescribed GLP-1 receptor agonist worldwide for type 2 diabetes and weight management. Semaglutide powerfully reduces appetite, slows gastric emptying, and improves glycaemic control. Pen delivers doses in 0.25mg or 0.5mg increments — start at 0.25mg once weekly for 4 weeks, then increase to 0.5mg weekly, and up to 1mg weekly if needed. Clinical trials show 10–15% body weight reduction over 68 weeks alongside significant HbA1c improvement. Inject subcutaneously in abdomen, thigh or upper arm — same day each week.
