Description
Byetta (Exenatide 10mcg) by AstraZeneca is a twice-daily injectable GLP-1 receptor agonist for the management of type 2 diabetes and weight control. Each pre-filled pen delivers 60 doses of 10mcg via subcutaneous injection. Exenatide mimics incretin hormones — stimulating insulin release, suppressing glucagon, slowing gastric emptying, and reducing appetite. Inject subcutaneously within 60 minutes before morning and evening meals. Do not inject after meals. For subcutaneous use only — abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Average weight loss: 2–5 kg over 6 months when combined with diet and exercise. Store refrigerated (2–8°C). Manufactured by AstraZeneca.
